Cardinal Engineering, Inc. is located in Port Royal, South Carolina, on the Southeastern coast of the United States. The county of Beaufort itself is in the heart of the South Carolina Lowcountry, a land with over half a million acres of coastal marshes and miles of slow moving, winding creeks and rivers.

Our design philosophy reflects our environment. We live in a land that is equal parts fragile, robust, beautiful, and cruel. Hurricanes and summer storms remind us of our limitations, but as soon as they blow over we say that we live in Paradise.

Our projects reflect these qualities. We strive for our designs to be robust and attractive, to protect existing resources, and at the same time to plan for the challenges of both the natural and the business environment.
